3-Your battery is low. Your
system tests the battery constantly if it runs low, it will let you know by blinking and
beeping. Just press the Reset Key (*) the beeping will stop but the light will continue to
blink until the battery recharges by itself or replaced if necessary. You can still use
your system. A low battery only means that if your system were to operate in a power
failure it would only operate for a shorter period because the backup battery is weak. If
your battery doesn't recharge by itself within 24 hours it will beep again to remind you
that it is still low. It also tells us at the Central Station that it is low.

4- A hard wired system is a
system that is physically wired from your protected openings (Windows and Doors) directly
to a control panel. The wiring is done within the walls of your home without having to
break open the walls and re-plaster. Most wiring only requires a 1/4 or 3/8 inch hole
through a wall that is 6 inches thick and hollow within.
A wireless system is a series of short-range radio transmitters that send a
signal to a receiver that triggers a control panel. Each of these transmitters requires a
battery to keep it running. The batteries must be replaced about every two years.
A hard wired system is better, because there is nothing better than a pair of
copper wires bringing a signal back to a control. Think of your cordless telephone or
garage door openers and how reliable they are. Most large alarm marketing companies use
wireless. Because it is faster to install and doesn't require the extensive training that
is required to hard wire a home.

6- YES. We have motion detectors
that will allow an animal up to 60 pounds to walk around undetected.
TOP
7- Each system has what is known
as a Digital Communicator built into its circuit board. This communicator is like a
computer modem only much faster. The system is connected to your telephone lines is such a
fashion that if your alarm was tripped and your phone was off the hook or busy it would
still dial out. It usually takes no longer than 30 seconds for our operators to receive
the message that your alarm has tripped.
Each system has a unique code number that identifies your home or business. The
system also tells the operator what caused the alarm to sound. They know if a window or
door was opened or a motion detector was violated.
TOP
8- No. We will set up a unique
password with you. When our operators receive the alarm signal they will immediately call
you back. If some one answers the phone and has the right password the process stops
there. If the operator does not get the proper code, gets no answer , gets an answering
machine or a busy signal . then the authorities are dispatched.

9-Yes. Each system we install has
a number of individual zones. You can bypass any section of you home and protect the rest
of it.
